Towel Radiators come in a variety of styles and heating elements.
Styles:
Floor mount - actually attached to the floor.
Wall mount - attached to the wall (opens up floor space).
Portable - allows you to take the towel radiator to the space it is needed most.
Electric - heated with electricity (can be plugged in or hardwired directly).
Hydronic - connected to the hot water supply of your home and heated with hot water that is circulated through the towel radiators.
Some things to consider:
Budget – the range in prices can be as low as $100 up to the thousands.
Intended Use – is it being used to dry wet towels (like at the pool side) or to heat dry towels (in the bathroom space)?
Decor of space – there are almost as many styles and finishes of towel radiators as there are bathroom spaces to put them in.
Size of Space – some units will sit on the floor and some can be hung directly on the wall.
Installation needs – can you do it yourself or will a professional be required?
Number of people – the more that are using the space then the larger you will likely want to go (or the more units you may want to install).
